Curriculum Certificate in Theology (PDF) - This PDF is only in German.

For the Certificate in Theology (Zth) 60 ECTS-Points will be required. This corresponds to a scheduled time-frame of two terms.

 The program is completed, when

  • 40 ECTS-Points in compulsory courses and
  • 20 ECTS-Points in elective courses have been completed.

Unlike compulsory courses, elective courses may vary from year to year.

Content and didactics of the curriculum follow the concept of the department of theology:

  1. Department of Biblical Theology (Old and New Testament)
  2. Department of Systematic Theology
  3. Department of Historical Theology
  4. Department of Practical Theology (incl. Christian Education, Mentoring and Practical Training)

First year students will be given an introductory lecture for studying at Campus Danubia (1 ECTS) in order to help them to find their way with the courses and to answer various questions.
